Some more insight into what a PURPOSE BUILT & SET UP SPEED ENTRAPMENT ROAD LOOKS LIKE. AND THAT THEY EXIST.
This is how the road is/has been since 2000. As you can see, if you are driving for England, it is very difficult to score a goal, as the REQUIRED TWO TERMINAL POSTS for a new speed limit are NOT PLACED. And as the roundabout has THREE speed limits off it, you need MORE than the BARE MINIMUM of signs on 2 exits. (which must be either side or else they are repeaters and not terminals)
Signs ON to the roundabout for the roundabout speed should be accompanied by the sign OFF. In this instance the two respective 40Mph roads are not even parallel! they are at 90 degrees! and the 30mph & 50mph roads are only indicated by a single terminal sign, which alone is a repeater sign! repeating what? if the speed limit is different on entry to the roundabout? YOU CAN NOT JUST TACK A FLIMSY SIGN UP! and say it is adequate! What if you go around the roundabout twice? Also as shown below, other vehicles can obstruct view of the signs! & the 50mph road has a "National speed limit" natural percentile speed! of original construction. Compare this road to any National speed limit road or 50mph road and you will see that THE PURPOSE OF A DUAL LANE CARRIAGEWAY IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FASTER & MORE EFFICIENT TRANSPORT, WITH 2 LANCES TO FACILITATE OVERTAKING.
The other video below is how the exits SHOULD be signed, CORRECTLY. As you can see, its easy to score for England with this configuration, as the goal posts are set up properly!
Can ENGLAND ever WIN the world cup again??? Beckham & the Prince are trying to get it hosted in England. Yet the diplomatic thing to do is support Russia to help our relationship with the country? But in England we are just selfish! I wonder if Mark Gilmore or Mark Burns-Williams could be a good England manager? Sir Norman Bettison? Sir Peter Fahy?
