Terminal sign still missing from Owl Lane Roundabout entrance to Ossett bypass

the locations sign on the right is a distraction as its where the other terminal sign should be. Also a missing no stopping sign there and the one that IS there is next to the only speed limit, distracting attention. That sign was dirty and bent for ages and has recently been replaced. It drew attention also away from the terminal sign that can be obstructed by lorrys and other vehicles. WHY BOTHER PLACING TWO (2) SPEED CAMERA SIGNS?! another distraction! WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD KEEP MAINTAINED TWO SPEED CAMERA SIGNS AND NOT THE REQUIRED BY LAW 2 TERMINAL SIGNS ON AN ENFORCED ROAD THAT IS BUILT TO RUN 4 POLICE PARKING LOCATIONS + ?



This means that you can drive around the roundabout at 50mph then 40mph then 50mph then 30mph alternately

A repeater sign means "it was this speed and still is"

Not that "this is a new speed limit"

If you approach a 50mph repeater sign, it means you are IN A 50mph area.

And the roundabout itself IS NOT 50mph, thus the SIGN IS INCORRECT. It gives WRONG INFORMATION.

TWO TERMINAL SIGNS ARE REQUIRED. ONE EACH SIDE OF THE ROUNDABOUT ENTRANCE TO THE BYPASS.

This is besides the point that still critical missing safety features have been ignored.. = NO CONCERN WHAT SO EVER FOR ACCIDENTS IN PRACTICE. ONLY FOR PROMOTIONAL PROPAGANDA ROAD SAFETY ADVERTS.

and the safety features missing are at a junction exit that really needs them.

Also a repeater sign (the second one) i think is still missing. And it is REQUIRED

WHY DOES THE MANUAL EXIST? WHAT DOES IT SAY? WHY DO THEY HAVE ALL THESE SIZES AND DISTANCES?

PURPOSE IS TO GIVE ADEQUATE PSYCHOLOGICAL GUIDANCE TO DRIVERS SUBCONSCIOUSLY TO DIRECT AND CONTROL TRAFFIC THAT HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR USE WITH SPECIFIC FUNCTION.


AND THE REASON THE SIGNAGE IS NOT CORRECT AT THE MAJORITY OF THESE SPEED CAMERA SITES WHOOP DE FUCKING DOO, BELIEVE IT OR NOT IS TO MISGUIDE AND MISLEAD YOU TO OBTAIN MONIES FOR FINES

You do NOT get a National Speed limit Dual Carriageway, with 2 Lanes, and change it to 50Mph, build 4 or 5 police observation platforms (non regulation) and FAIL to have THE EXACT CORRECT ROAD SIGNAGE AND ALL SAFETY FEATURES IN PLACE PERFECTLY AFTER YEARS AND YEARS OF SPEED ENFORCEMENT, and dare to say that ROAD IS NOT SAFE AT NATIOMAL SPEED LIMIT,

When the ACCIDENT FIGURES HAVE NOT CHANGED AT ALL.

IF THERE WAS ANY CONCERN FOR ROAD SAFETY WHAT SO EVER THE ROAD WOULD HAVE ALL SAFETY FEATURES, SIGNS AND CORRECT ROAD MARKINGS PERFECTLY IN PLACE, WHICH IT DOES NOT.

AND LOWERING THE SPEED LIMIT to 50Mph IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT WHAT SO EVER.

WHEN MASSIVE PROFFITS ARE BEING SPENT ON WAKEFIELD CITY CENTRE AND BULL RING.

So, I still am having trouble getting the Ossett bypass video & the Prestatyn video of my Dad, from the Police. I am not trying to get the Courts to aquire it from the police. There is obviously some issues with both videos or they would have given it to us by now (have been sent the Haslingden video as you know.. which I used to prove (FL) length shift calculations were incorrect and Aim.

So this is a great little website here that turned up first in a google search just now.
Its like a video game simulation for a "Target". you can choose the Background (do not think you can load your own) and change the graphic for the crosshair! pretty awesome, many parameters to play with.

The Crosshair on the Haslingden bypass video is present (Tele-traffic manual states it can be turned on/off on the device) why you would NOT have it on would be stupid because if it is turned off, how can the device be "aimed" with any certainty at all at a target?! How do you even know what is being aimed at with a laser? is the aim even calibrated correctly? how could you prove this?

Here is the website anyway.. it would be great if there was a computer programme to load any video or photo into the background with this webpage, such as a video of motorway traffic and see how difficult it really is to get vehicles with the crosshair!

Here is the Photo again of my Dad in Prestatyn. I covered up the reg plate. But there is no obvious crosshair for the aim!? i think they zoom into the video to get a detailed picture. So there may be no point just measuring for the exact "centre" of this photograph and saying "thats the middle" without first seeing the original video. Because you dont know where the edges are of the frame.

With my Traffic light photos some are "zommed in" from the other pictures.



If they are NOT using a "crosshair" then WHY? is there something they are trying to hide/cover up such as true aim location on the vehicle?

In the Picture above there is a white line by the dark coloured vehicle but it looks like a light highlight on the car. There is a line below, but its not a crosshair and there is a thin line to the right which looks like a print mark as this was scanned from a paper print out.

Its beyond doubt that there is a MAJOR COVER UP OPERATION going on in the speed enforcement departments across the entire country. And they try to get these "paid" professional experts in to throw you off the scent at cort or pre court.

They really just "dont want you to have the videos".

So IF both the Ossett and Prestatyn videos have no crosshairs on them.. Exactly what EVIDENCE is there that any laser beam was correctly aimed onto ANY target vehicle AT ALL?

I did see the still photo from Ossett the Van beside a Royal Mail Transit, but I sent it in to the police and didnt get a scan before I sent it in. There was no Crosshair on it.

I will get these videos somehow, eventually, even if I have to go through every solicitor in the country until a straight one is found who is not trying to protect the polices franchise & their own buisness flow...

Anyway.. Have a go with the crosshair app & if you did get your speeding prosecution video, does it have a crosshair on it? have you zoomed into the crosshair to establish the target in detail and correlate it with the (FL) focal length times?

Just an image to illustrate the difference between terminal & repeater signs and what signal and messages they have been taught to mean to drivers when learning the highway code.

The Road Signs manual gives detailed descriptions of why these signs send different psychological messages & reaction signals to drivers. And specified sizes & distances for respective visibility and reaction times. For safety and adequately informing the driver at specific times and distances. These signs Must be maintained clean as new for reasons given, and for reflectiveness at night time.

The BBC have been aware of the illegal road sign situation across the United Kingdom for several years. At least since Freeman & Co were featured on the Jeremy Vine show. The Police obviously have choosen not to act further to these many, many media storys. Here we have another example...

As Many High ranking Ex-police are members of the House of Lords.. It is assumed that Lord Patten's involvement with the BBC may have effected the organizations limits on coverage of the national endemic that originated from Parliament & the Lords.

Is 70mph too fast for certain vehicles on the Bypass?

Why are country roads National speed limit when the width and bends are silly?

Why didnt they just put 50mph advisory speed limit on the bypass at certain sections? or 60mph advisory speed limit?

Why havent they spent money on safety features that are missing if they were really concerned about road safety?

ELLAND BYPASS. 50mph FIXED SPEED CAMERAS. DIFFERENT TRICKS THAN OSSETT BYPASS.


"oversized" signs wrong prescriptive size. Not clean & lighting not working, renders the signs seriously not visible at night. Also very high up.

LARGE sign size is for HIGHER speedd limits.

ALSO there is a VERY LARGE HGC WEIGHT LIMIT SIGN as well.. which GIVES SIGNAL TO HGV that there is a HIGHER APPROACH SPEED (56mph MOTORWAY/DUAL CARRIAGEWAY)

The Terminal signs at the Top side (Huddersfield end) are 600mm with the lighting not operational

There is a 600mm REPEATER SIGN, when the rest are 4500mm. and MOST IMPORTANTLY

ONE WOULD PRESUME THAT THE 50Mph LIMIT PLACED ON THIS ROAD WAS FOR THE DOWNHILL BEND, YET THE TRIANGLE WARNING SIGN FOR THE ACTUAL BEND IS VERY VERY FADED AWAY!? HOW CAN ANY COUNCIL OR POLICE FORCE JUSTIFY THIS NONSENSICAL ROAD TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT WHICH IS A DISGRACE?
