So this is apparently the latest manual for the "concept II system by teletraffic uk.. LINK> www.teletrafficuk.com/pdf/manual-concept-ii.pdfIt seems different from the manual that came up in searches when I was defending myself & doing research for the Haslingden offence at Chorley & Burnley. I am certain there was no details in the manual that I had about the FL function, which i apparently got wrong. Anyway... I dont like the idea of this recording system "Adding in frames" and "CREATING" frames to "Fill in between!" yes thats what it says! Anyway.... I will have to go back & compare with the other previous document I had which is a lot more basic. It might have been for the "concept 1" version. But it was all that I found when researching the 20/20. I did not find out about the Ultralyte at the time. Now that I have one to actually try out... The Concept system is in fact less important than the LTI itself, but it does help you record the "Data" displayed, though I still think it distracts from the actual LTI sending & target and the actual reading itself.

So here is an random youtube example of someone else testing a similar device out... This one is the Kustom Pro laser. It seems a lot more advanced than the LTI with more features & live tracking as well. this guy is in Virginia or somewhere.. but he is testing it out at a really cosine angle like from the side too much, not straight on. You really want to use actual police sites & locations.
Virginia seems to be using a "Left" then "Right" rear headlight trick to get different speed readings...
Where I was getting cars in Kendal at the police parking area, upto 10mph variation because of the "SHAPE" of the vehicle itself!
Still the prolaser seems pretty cool. I decided to use the LTI because it is the device that i am defending against. So i will not be interested in the prolaser really.
There are hundreds of these videos on you tube. I dont have much to add to what Dr. Clark stated on the BBC video. He put most of the issues on the table. All i am doing is elaborating further into those and the dynamics of how that will work in regular enforcement sessions at special selected sites with certain road sign configurations and speed percentiles. And explore what is going on

Here's the website for the prolaser 3 kustomsignals.com/products/product/pro_laser_iiiIf does seem a bit more funky display and reading readout than the LTI. I wonder if I can find a concept system for sale without going to Teletraffic?! Though I will need some data and power cables.

610 meters is the maximum range of the LTI ultralyte. It only does upto 299mph!? And you cannot speed measure closer than 23meters?!?
There is a continuous mode as well. That I haven't tried yet. I just did a video about the North Yorkshire police technique and I think they might be using continuous mode so I might be wrong about my comments!
Haven't added that to this thread yet though...
These are the cable connection types
Two UltraLyte download cables:- Turk 4-pin to DB 9-pin cable- Turk 4-pin to HP 200/48 10-pin cable
I am going to have to try out the different modes. Otherwise I am only giving limited opinion

some police LTI Ultralyte concept system footage! of a smoke bomb thrown at a police camera van! The interesting thing is that is shows some speed detection enforcement in-between! And I notice that the system is not obtaining speed readings consistently either! It's gives a few errors before getting a reading if you watch! And he changes target from center to right hand bumper! If that is indeed calibrated correctly with the LTI. I will post this in the experiments LTI thread as well! Man sentanced after throwing smoke grenade at police camera van (includes LTI video with error readings and side targets! ) www.northyorkshire.police.uk/16611 Here is my commentry video of the North Yorkshire speed camera footage.. & the photos i obtained from it.. of error attempts Error codes of LTI ultralytes attempt 1 veh 1: EO3 - measurement error attempt 2 veh 1: 32MPH - 142.5meters attempt 1 veh 2: EO1 - measurement error attempt 1 veh 3: EO1 - measurement error attempt 2 veh 3: EO3 - measurement error attempt 3 veh 3: 32MPH - 202meters

Ok, so I've just found this concept VAN, and it made me, smile. www.teletrafficuk.com/products/turnkey-enforcement-solutions/concept-van/It actually does have little stabilizer supports that are electric! Haha. Kinda funny and cute, but its still a speed camera van. Here, I think it might have been the ranger manual that I read first, not the concept laser speed www.teletrafficuk.com/products/speed-enforcements/ranger-compact-system/Either way. I might actually try to find one 2nd hand and give it an M.O.T. I wonder if they work with older Ultralytes? Oh , yeah and Tele-traffic actually do do training courses. But the speed camera staff I spoke to from West Mercia on the same location as the Go safe North Wales Chirk Bridge said that HE trained the other speed camera staff. So I am wondering if he will train the PCSO's as well from that Constabulary?! I have to say that I wonder if they get the PCSOs doing a bit of speed enforcement now & again and pick out the Crack Shots and the decent ones get promotion to a specialty department? I wonder if the best ones earn a place in a mobile van (as they only seem to have a few vans each force) I wonder exactly how many hand held devices each force operates?! I have only seen in recent years... The guy in North Yorkshire, out with the landrover, a guy in Ashton in Makerfield on a bike parked up and the guy years, ago who asked if he could do speed enforcement on the road outside our house. (i said no) Oh & a car on the A55 at the bottom of the hill. I just never have seen many mobile hand helds. And I stopped seeing the mobile vans for ages then they re-appeared!?
