The Steve Jackson & Ian LivingStone, Fighting Fantasy series Book - "Appointment with F.E.A.R." cover character looks just like Sgt. Phil Tyson from West Yorkshire Police Manningham Police Station!

on the book cover, the Character shoots LTI Ultralyte - like beams from his Spectacles! and is holding a circuitboard that looks just like the LTI device Ultralyte circuitboard! the Book has an overall theme of a "James Bond Villain" mixed with the "Blade runner" movie, or a Spiderman Villain. see my talk about it here a bit.. & the books. used to own the book when i was at School! ive just found & bought the poster! you can get posters of these books now! the full cover collection is a masterpiece of Fantasy artworks. Probably one of the greatest cross-fiction collections ever put together. (IMHO)

For me, the artwork is incomplete without the distinctive Yellow comic script font.

The interesting co-incidence here with Ian LivingStone is that, my Best friend at the time.. His dad was the Chief of a Fire Station. & he actually is called Ian. (Ok i will try not to mention this, lol) and my dad told me that when he was a younger fire-man apparently he drove straight out of the fire station in an emergency call, and crashed straight into the side of an Pakistani gentlemans van or car or something. And wrote it off

He could do backflips, though. and once i fell down a tree and headbutted a big branch as I was falling & He had to do first aid on my nose, but I was ok! lol.

Actually, I know a Guy, whos son or Newphew was crossing a traffic light junction & a police car drove straight through a red light, crashing into side of the lads car, with no Emergency lights flashing (apparently) and a squadron of police turned up shortly after, and it was made out it was not the fault of the Police, but the young lad! and after my experience with the police recently & CPS & Courts, I can believe it. A police car crashed into another car on a mini roundabout in Robertown as well, I think i either saw it, or it was in the newspaper.

It cannot have been that far from the same time about when one of the drivers at work, saw a police van crashed into on the Ossett bypass Police enforcement road. That I dont think was in the newspaper. The Police officer may have been Robert Halstead. But i will have to try see if the story was ever in the newspaper or covered up?

LASER guns that may have helped to wrongly convict thousands of motorists have been shelved by a police force.

The move could call into question their use to trap speeding drivers right across the country amid fears that they give false readings.

Kent Police has told officers not to use the hand-held speed detectors with immediate effect after a court found “problems” in the way one of the machines was calibrated

The leaked police memo, sent on October 4, also advised traffic officers not to issue fixed penalty notices or summonses based on evidence from the devices.

The implication is that the laser guns, which are calibrated annually, have failed to meet minimum legal requirements. It could be a huge embarrassment for the Home Office, which has always insisted the devices are “robust and accurate”.

Thousands of drivers in Kent alone may have been convicted in court, or paid fixed penalties, based on false evidence. And if other LTI 20/20 devices in use across the country are found to be faulty, millions of drivers may have received wrongful fines and penalty points.

Some may have lost their jobs as a result. The memo, sent to officers in South Kent and signed off by roads policing officer Phil Sharp, said: “Following a court case at Folkestone yesterday and in liaison with the Criminal Justice Unit (traffic) a review of speed enforcement policy is to be made regarding the use of all laser speed guns in South Kent.

“Pending this review, no further FPN’s (fixed penalty notices) or summons should be issued. I hope this review will be completed within two weeks and I will notify any changes in policy required before any further enforcement takes place.”

Critics said the decision could lead to thousands of motorists being given “substantial” compensation if it is found that they have been wrongfully convicted.

They called for the devices to be scrapped completely. Paul Smith, founder of Safe Speed, said: “We demand that Kent Police immediately contact those wrongfully convicted and refund them and remove points from their driving licences.

Nothing less will do. Anyone who has lost their job or otherwise suffered as a result of an erroneous conviction will be entitled to substantial compensation.”

The laser devices have always courted controversy over whether they are accurate. Independent tests have previously revealed that the guns could give false readings if they are not set up correctly.

Inspector Geoff Wood, of Kent Police, said: “There is no problem with the use of laser guns. The court case revolved around a technical calibration issue which is being resolved. Police in the South Kent area are to recalibrate their laser speed guns.

spokeswoman would not give details of the court case that prompted the ban.

Seems like a perfectly timed propaganda case leaked to motorcyle news ... 6 month before a new planned road signs manual is published... Where the illegal National speed limit signs are not even being removed.

I was thinking some kind of farce to get any challenges out of the way so Tele~traffics 1000 model LTI could continue unchallenged...

But im thinking now that it was the perfect "decoy" story to distract from the road sign issues... Focusing attention to the laser... Just before the new sign positions and size requirements are updated that wil lead to massive solicitor case work load for defence cases. Kent tucked away... In the corner.

Why were the 2002 TSRGD illegal 300mm National speed limit signs everywhere not being spitted and removed around then??

I have to deem that the BBC are not that retarded. And that they have been covering for the police all these years?

The Newspapers and BBC mock us daily with joke headlines while we are duped, scammed, mislead..? Lied to. Palmed off with celebrity crap programmed we are expected to worship.. And dropped stupid hints. While the reporters enjoy their vocational careers and "variable speed limit" 5 live show hobts when they know very well that the speed limits have not been set consistently? Or Mabe not. But I find it hard to believe they don't know about the extent of the unlawful signs.

Train using BBC commuter nerds. And yuppie presenters who couldnt give a rats ass chuff about the public when they are not being worshipped like a Aztec john lennon gold statue award. From an indiana jones movie set.

Ok, so the BBC & ITV are not supposed to "take sides". they are supposed to report & be "unbiased".

But i still think that it is their public duty and obligation to let the public know about the EXTENT across the whole United Kingdom that the road signs have been incorrect & unlawfull. Especially in connection with the use of the cameras, when they , by law could not be used to prosecute people. I actually believe that is a serious national road safety liability.

Look.... heres a Television News Programme. Its reporting that the Police are now going to take a less "Prosecutive and points" approach. And instead get police to talk to drivers about speeding. But they still want to carry on using the "GUNs".

And The Department of transport are "De-cluttering" signs, so removing the legal requirement for repeater signs and 2 terminal ones, because they will not be thus making enough monet to maintain them. So.. the Governments "Way out" of the predecament... is that they are adding more cameras to motorways, and more signs, yet in contradiction.. because they are on the other hand saying they are going to remove signs..

So thus the government is full of (IMHO) rubbish. and just will not admit that they have been lying, deceptive & crooked.
They are scrambling for a way to carry on running this... "Gun" thing.

The solution is simple.. dont make cars that speed faster than the top speed limits and you will reduce accidents immediately by half across the entire country. Then any further arguments over road safety have been reduced below the previous danger threshold and thus the matter is completely and totally reduced to a few police "MALE CHAUVINISTS" racing around on motorcycles and "Getting people" - why do you think they like the job? why not just quarantine them off in a countryside areas/s at weekends. Like the film "the eagle has landed" quiet villages with no people around with the roads sectioned off?! on planned days & let them do what they want with proper safety in place?

These are the police motorcyle riders using the LTI, i think like in the Kent case? look how unstable the LTI is, with the camera fitted!?

I have added this update to 2 other threads.. sorry for the duplicated post. must be annoying, but its relevent to this thread as well...

I got a big parcel from West Yorkshire police the day before Christmas eve... i didnt know who it was from.. so didnt open it until i had found out who sent it and interlink express who delivered it were closed.. Anyway.. ive figured out that it must be the SWARCO electronic speed sign that i donated to the Oseett bypass, but they couldnt use it on a 2 lane road, even though Blackpool council do.. because it cant read seperate lanes and vehicles...
Anyway.. still havent opened it, but im certain now thats what it is... And i got the invoice out. So if it IS that (and not an LTI 1000 and concept/ranger they have sent me to test out) then im going to try see if i can return it to SWARCO traffic for a refund

I haven't opened the parcel yet.
But I think that it is probably the Electronic Speed sign that I donated to the Police and Council originally before they sent the case to Calderdale magistrates court.

The Speed sign cannot be used on the bypass because its 2 lanes. Yet Blackpool council use one on a dual lane road..

If it is the electronic speed sign.. I wonder if I can get the money back from it or sell it ?

As I'm pretty skint at the moment. :/

And you might think its very expensive, but if we compare this device to the Tele-traffic UK model of the LTI laser - the "1000" model.. its a joke really.. because the LTI devices are like dinky toy casio keyboards with a couple of glass lens, which cant cost more than a couple of Pint glasses. And really i dont think that the 1000 model is that different from the "Compact" model which has a stronger laser than the LR 100. And the "Configuration" is just a matter of twiddling a few things around inside.. And as for different software and hardware.. Phht.

In fact the original LR100 ultralyte really in theory.. even though they arent selling as many as "Toys-R-US" shouldnt be any more than a casio keyboard, or a £100 printer. There really is nothing to it, the circuitboard is just like a kids robot toy... look at all those new ones they have like in the Argos Christmas Advert!!

And as for the Concept and Ranger systems being £15,000... you are paying Frank Gattett and Mike Ricketts apparently for their "Expertise" and "Ongoing service" not really for the equipment.. when ive found people making infra red night vision cameras and equipment from similar video devices and components for only "a few hundred pounds".

And as for "Computer systems".. well... any buisness pays a computer guru £1,000 to sit there and install windows for half a day, when its a matter of pressing "Next" on the screen...
So really... Tele-traffic is "Sponsored" by "The public" which the police use our money to make Garrett into a dream millionaire in his perfect dream job of "Getting you" not just getting you, but tricking you, trapping you and taking YOUR dream job away from YOU, for the rewards of a Chiefs Medal and Honour.

Only that they could have just put up electronic speed signs for a fraction of the cost of Tele-traffic running costs..

And set the roads to consistent speed limits with the correct lawfull road signs.. and the accident rate would be more of less the same.

Only that.. if the Government has banned cars that go over 70mph and made them illegal 10 years ago... there would have been HALF the accidents. Less than Half the Prosecutions, trouble, Work & Hassle,

And the remaining number of accidents would be a lot less SERIOUS to be Blaming the Driver all the time and put some responsibility onto the pedestrian & cyclist as well... then if you take LONDON out of the figures.. you are left with a LOT LESS problem than what they are making it out to BE..

AND.. instead of a massive hole in the deficit.. it would just be Frank Garrett and Tele-traffic UK, going out with a lollypop stick to the remaining few trouble areas that are probably designed rubbish in the first place...

So we might as well have just Paid Garrett to go to Spain and bought him a retirement villa and saved all the hassle and money.

Or we could have split Garreets fortune with all the other Bobbys on the Beat and they might have been bothered to check the road signs properly as they would have been paid more and given more of a dam about it all?

Friday the 13th today!!

I dont know if you remember or saw it.. I think i posted it in "the claw" thread about illegal toy grabber machines...
Because of the whole Tim Burton cirlce tie-in with the rigged movie toys being used in the machines that technically are illegal for kids to play...

Well i posted this image.. Because it features a Toy grabber machine like homage pose in it... And i associate the style with Tim Burton circle..

Well this has just appeared now being advertised on various sites for this month January.. First time ive just seen it now..

And this time he is holding a little locket type object that looks very much like an LTI Ultralyte 20/20 police laser lenses!

Also i was looking for a photograph of a police guy holding the gun.. To compare.. And i saw one of my petition videos in the first page of the image search results!!

And also the Daily Mail newspaper cover that i lost and have been trying to find! Just found it again!! It had dissapeared from search results for a while. I also was presented with... this which distinctively stood out... Which just made me think "Dee Collins" New West Yorkshire police Chief

So its pointless singling out Tim Burton or Lemony Snicket or anyone else as being a Bad Guy when your Government is 10 times worse... In fact They set the bad guys example to follow! Im not a horror film liker really.

I got this pro Lazer III just as i got banned from driving it turned up in the post...
It was really difficult to get hold of. Because i was blocked from buying one mysteriously and i had to buy it through my mums account.. But i did get hold of it..

But i havent been able to go and test it and write reviews while ive been not working because i havent got the van! So i cant go anywhere & it doesnt run off batterys! it only runs of being plugged into the cigarette lighter! I did test it on my mums car.. just to power it up & test it works OK.. which it does..
But i havent given it the proper Bentcop.biz review and video test as i havent been able to...

But ive seen a few other youtube videos.. people have made videos about it...
I kinda like the design its quite cute and retro.. But the main feature is that.. you HOLD DOWN the trigger! and the SPEED READING is LIVE ON SCREEN DURING THE READING PROCESS! so you can see how aim effects reading! live!
I tried it on the wall and every movement changed the reading up & down for distance live as you point it! so the speed reading mode should be interesting!

I think you can get a battety pack for it but i was sick of buying this stuff.. as its was costing too much and im hoping i can claim all the expenses back if all this ever gets sorted out..

If you remember it was "arranged" for a West Mercia" police officer to be exactly on the corner of the street i was delivering to in Newport Shropshire & I recorded an interview with him... I asked for a go of his Pro Laser II (exact same model) but his had the battery pack.. and he declined the offer to M.O.T. his weapon... i was asking questions and he either doesnt really know as much as he should about them, or didnt want to go into detain with me (like most, but not all police laser operators)
