The role and goals of the Customer services in betting trading unfortunately does not have the same aims and standards as what you are accustomed to at your regular store, chain or retail outlet.
While the aims and goals of retailers is in strict adherence to trading standards and consumer rights..
To offer goods and services to a customer, to help provide the best and most efficient service to a customer and to assist the customer as best they can to get the best product for the best price and assist with selection and guidance to provide the best possible outcome for the customer..
It turns out that the strategy and practiced services of bookmakers that are under the guidance and direction of the Gambling Commission are far from this.
And the main reason is that bookmakers interests are in fact NOT for the customer to have the best possible outcome and NOT to assist the customer with sales of services to the highest standards possible and to assist the customer in every way possible.
Because if bookmakers did that, they would be at a loss. Not a gain.
So we have a contradiction in the goals and purpose of what we usually expect from what we usually identify as "customer services"
In fact through my investigation and experience recently with William Hill, Sky Bet, Paddy Power, Virgin Bet and Betsafe... We find that there is a very deceptive and misleading strategy in place... obstructive and a hindrance to sales and in fact a blatant opposition against the customer accessing services in a way that would result in the best possible services and outcomes.
Incorrect information Misleading process Obstruction Hindrance And use of a customers enquiries and contact (by way of the reasons i list) In fact cohesion of customers to contact them and need to speak to customer services due to intended and planned website errors, missing and misleading information and diversionary tactics.
These companies actually wish to hinder and control your use of their services in a manner as to NOT assist you in getting the best services and outcome from your use of their services and apps. In fact its evident that they intend to stop you receiving the best services and you not being able to access the services you wanted in fact they misrepresent the services and mislead you through the process to ensure that you are not able to.
With this in mind we can then approach complaints against the way these companies treat us and the services they provide.
Always with The highest quality of standards set by the government in mind.. for trading standards and consumer rights law.
Fraud. Misrepresentation. Discrimination.
Now the bookies are free to set what odds they like. But when Either customers/individuals are discriminated against and even Athletes as well.. and Different Sports are discriminated against..
We encounter serious problems
The main issue is a claim that sports "Traders" have a right to discriminate against sports types, Athletes or Individual customers in respect of the services they offer.
And the second issue is the policy they claim to be operating under for placing bets and bet limits. Many of these policies are flawed and contradictory and not rational or logically. Legally flawed. So cannot be valid or enforceable.
And this actually results from the underlying Discrimination we find in this industry. In the betting trade.
1. Discrimination between sports 2. Discrimination between Athletes 3. Discrimination between customers A. Sex B. Class C. Social status (example V.I.P.)
There is serious concern that the Gambling Commission are jointly responsible for creating, maintaining and failing to address this Discrimination and the flaws in the policies these companies provide.
_ The policy as it stands
A. Football and horse racing betting and RIDDICULOUS bet requests
B. As opposed to lottery bet requests (whatsmyodds) For example colours in lotto.
Are my odds against the bookies being indicated?
Criteria for abuse of fair and lawful representation of services.
1. Defective policy.
2. Misrepresentation and deception of exactly what is on offer to buy. And acting to deprive a person of a purchase they can or could make at a given time, by changing what is on offer. And using a strategic system of delaying and diverting a customer through a pre planned system so that such delays and deprivation can be strategically implemented.
In the grounds of purporting to be a legitimate service and honest service. And purporting to have a genuine policy that turns out yo be flawed and misleading
And finally the entire aforementioned framework and basis applied to the fact that good Athletes and Contenders are not always marked accordingly to their true odds and abilities. In fact in each market may have!a stray listing that is offered much higher odds than what is accurate or true to the facts. Therefore each market is "rigged" to its own purpose to facilitate higher prize payouts being obtainable.. and this fraud requires careful planning and control in order for the bookmakers to control who can bet and what can be bet.. knowing that the odds on certain Athletes are not correct..
Which is why the bookmakers feel they need to implement the entire aforementioned strategy and discourse and the very poor customer services.. that are in fact Therefore not there to assist the customer.. In this industry/market the customer services are used to delay, manipulate and in fact oppose customers...
So its not an honest or truthfull service that they offer. Its a very fraudulent and misleading service and culture all together.
