Today is Kendal!
Ok so I put a petition notice at this location on a metal post, quite a few months ago, before it all kicked off..
& its gone now. But there is evidence of people placing other signs & notices that didnt get taken down, including some ground staked signs!!!
Now I placed some ground stake signs between congleton, Macclesfield, Leek area and they got taken by the police from that area!!! certainly no damage at all!!! I got questioned about it as well, So it was the police who took them. I reported them as stolen to Leek police station around the time.
They will take anything these days.
Anyway, back to Kendal. I spotted a speed camera sign that was facing the wrong direction, so it has been moved by someone & not set back straight again. Also the tree behind it seems to have grown quite a bit since 2011!
Mentions a beer festival! Do you think all the drink drivers who got done for speeding ever checked the signs afterwards back then??? They didnt get done for drink driving I bet! Or worse???
This road location seems to take advantage of the transition from National speed limit to 30mph by adding a 40mph in between, so that you have to change speed twice, instead of once. This could catch you out when entering or leaving the edge of town. Including the nearby petrol station, which you might not notice the signs as you accelerate away?
Also Saw the Yellow Eagle Eye van parked over the M61 motorway today on my way back home, with both its back doors open??!!! But it has no camera in the side of it??!! WHY??!!
