Today at approx 1:30pm on the A19 near Easingwald North Yorkshire, Mobile Police camera road safety vehicle FX04 KYZ.
Enforcing the speed limit on a road with at leadt 10x Illegal size National speed limit signs all at incorrect distances apart.
When challenged the "OFFICER" did not know the required sign sizes but stated he would report it to the council as I requested.
I walked away thinking.... How does he carry out the "required" road signage checks before enforcement sessions if he does not know the highway code or road sign requirements??? - left me wondering if this is yet another "lying" police officer - which seems to be forming a very strong pattern now of lie,lie,lie,lie ... truth & honesty policy breech? A standard above and beyond that of any other service? Is someone just taking the piss out of us all?
