I read the Peter Ackroyd Book - "Civil War" Histories of England chapter III
There are several hours of re-iterating the story in layman's terms with a few of my own insights Over 6 hours.. It took me a couple of weeks to read the book at my leisure..

I thought the previous Duke of Buckingham discussion didn't go as well as I thought So, I re did it..
The think about the Linda Levy Peck book is that it has all the intricate details and accounts kept of all the monies and dealing of specific people and figures, peers through the period.. and history.. And what I thought, but didn't fully voice was that this information does explain the reasons and personal Greivences between people that contributed to the civil war. And shows why people did what they did, and their relationships, reasons and motivations
