Check this out.... Its from the York video from earlier in the week where a Mobile Police Office goes through a RED light moments after it has changed in York....
Later in that video, I get to a set of traffic lights in York City that i am familiar with - one of the well know junctions, but instead of going left where i usually go .. the SAT NAV says to turn RIGHT!
Only I am caught by surprise because apparently you have to wait for the green light to go right or straight, but there is only ONE LANE! and only the LEFT FILTER ARROW on!
On closer inspection, with the Ques of cars sat waiting through sequences... it appears that you are "trapped" if you want to turn RIGHT there! and would have to just STOP and WAIT at the LINE holding everyone up if you want to turn RIGHT while you WAIT FOR THE GREEN LIGHT other than the left filter!
& if you look EARLIER at the PRE-SET of lights there is a green BIKE filter in place where a filter arrow might go, that is deceptive!
So you literally are trapped if you have to turn right! I have never had to before there & i am not certain it has been that buisy before when I have been there. There is a sandwitch dhop that used to be well known on that bend but you could never park anywhere for it!
Only one lane! I want to go right! arrgh! what about people behind me!?
