Surprise surprise! I have only just sent off to North Wales police, Subject disclosure for my old speeding videos from the Wrexham/Chirk bypass... and as if by Magic.. after not seeing the Camera van parked there over the bridges for AGES (once in the last few years) He was There today! And I was out in a different vehicle to usual, a Luton box van we are currently renting out.
So.... I have noticed where they have taken out the beloved roundabouts and raped them with new terrible traffic lights, that have vehicles wating pointlessly for ages all directions.. that the NEW SIGNS are WRONG!
Yes they are placing NEW INCORRECT SIGNAGE STILL WITH INTENT!
The National speed limit TERMINAL SIGNS for the bypass (and the only one save for repeater signs) are ODD!
But they have been placed with mixed up backings to try and appear the same size, as a visual mind trick, like seen on the many "pattern" tricks. But in LAW and under the road signs manual they are NOT CORRECT.
Also the OTHER signs for 50Mph facing the other way also have used the backing to facilitate the intent to facilitate the wrong signs on the other side.
This is all legal loophole territory.
ANYWAY.. here is the road at the start of the BYPASS National speed limit section, where the two beautifull roundabouts have been raped from, & where you could turn around at.
So... I am going on the Bypass to "Chirk" and the camera van is Not there.. But I am thinking "I wonder if he will be? or even still uses this bypass?"
So I did the delivery & I am on my way back up the Bypass and "HEY PRESTO" he is there on the bridge on the other side! And he had his windows closed still, so must have only just arrived! Because earlier there were actually by complete chance a few vehicles on each bridge! but not the camera van!

Anyway... So I turned around and filmed it, and as I went around the roundabout to film it, this VAN with the "point up" arrows pattern on the back got in front of me!! complete chance! so it was pointing up at the camera van when it went underneath! LOL! chances?! ANYWAY... THIS TIME, I decided to go and get the REG number & interview him, as its tricky to find how to get to the bridges, but you do it from Chirk Village!
I got quite a few questions & points from him as well. He let me film the screen (which is whited out on film unfortunately) but He even did a little demo with the camera... I will tell you what I found out & what was said... (many contradictions and questionable answers) He also has mini CCTV as well for the front of the van, but not inside it.
& surprise surprise, the battery went & phone shut off 3/4 of the way through the conversations, but lucky it saved and I have MOST of the questions/points except when he claimed he "didnt understand" my points on the Traffic light cameras & longer vehicles. (lets not forget there are illegal size national speed limit signs on entrance to the bypass in places as well. But i didnt mention that)

So.. listen to whats said, but here are the main points that I got from the meetingon this occasion (other than after when the battery ran out)
Firstly... This guy says that North Wales police DO NOT DELETE ANY OF THE SPEEDING VIDEOS! They keep them all! So you can get hold of your video from the police from Any time you were sent an N.I.P. in the past! And I am certain this is the truth with ALL of the police areas, not just North Wales. Because if they are THAT buisy.. who is going to sit there deleting videos all day? no one. And I believe they "have to" keep them. Anyway... So I should be able to get BOTH mine from this road (I am certain there were TWO and ONE of them may have been a contributor to my 2 year Driving ban for totting up!)
The next thing is the "CROSSHAIR" aim target. This guy only has a RED DOT in the VIEWFINDER of his LENS to target vehicles with. There apparently is no crosshair in the final video/footge. SO HOW CAN YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT IS BEING AIMED AT!? Well... to make things even more "dodgy" he has a little monitor at the SIDE of him, plugged into the camera, which DOES have a cross hair on it.. BUT YOU CAN MOVE IT!?
So it not always apperently in the MIDDLE of the screen (but IS THE RED DOT?!)* Anyway.. this crosshair was LOWER screen, middle! But on my lancashire video it is in the CENTRE! So the main point IS... IF THEY ARE MOVING IT AROUND TO DIFFERENT PLACES ON THE SCREEn... BUT DONT HAVE IT VISIBLE ON THE FINAL EVIDENCE RECORDED...
WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY AIMING AT? WHAT EVIDENCE IS THERE AFTERWARDS?! Just the officers word that he aimed a red dot on a vehicle (which no one else can see!?)
Also I saw clearly on the screen (I was hoping you would see it but the screen is really bright) His aim and steadyness on cars is TERRIBLE! its "all over the place"! over car, under car... bonnet, windscreen!
No need for the WIND to blow the VAN around at all! his hand is wobbly enough!

But this is his point.... he claims that the LASER BEAM is 1 METER diameter, ok.. at the distance he is working at.. (but agrees it chances size) But he says it covers the whole of the car nearly.
So I give the rational arguments you would expect about window/bonnet distances...
He claims that that ONLY LIGHT FROM THE LICENCE PLATE will be detected by the device. And this is where we disagree (including the safety camera expert from Chorley Magistrates) He thinks the laser is "like a shotgun" and GETS THE ENTIRE VEHICLE. (magically missing all other vehicles & licence plates around the edges) and ONLY THE LICENCE PLATE distance is measured.
So I give him the counter points about reflection angles changing as a vehicle is moving position and also that the licence plate is NOT as reflective as the PAINTWORK, because it IS HIGH VIS, but NOT DIRECTLY REFLECTIVE BACK as that would be BLINDING. A licence plate DIFFUSES light .. so NOT to blind you. it sends it other directions, but is highly visible because the numbers DONT reflect light they absorb it.
Anyway.. I didnt mention my own video footage frame by frame calculations with the Focal length (FL) which is my MAIN evidence that the laser diameter is a LOT smaller than they claim it is & that it can detect light EQUAL from MOST surfaces, even the ROAD. (which is why I need more videos to compare, to PROVE that)
Oh.. Also I described the traffic light cameras need the road markings for speed calculation & the other points & he didnt agree, or else "didnt get it".
He DOES Have to check the road signage though (AGREES) and DOES HAVE TO MAKE CERTAIN THEY ARE CLEAN AS WELL TO BE MAINTAINED!! (AGREES)
But he doesnt agree the signs have to be the prescribed SIZES! which he is wrong about, and I believe he disagrees because of the incorrect sizes on the very exact bypass he was ENFORCING AT THAT TIME! (300mm signs & ODD size terminal signs)
Anyway... he DOES agree though, that the SIGNS HAVE TO BE THE CORRECT DISTANCE APART!? the "Repeaters" and also he states.. and I quote "YOU CAN NOT HAVE TOO MANY REPEATER SIGNS, THEY HAVE TO BE THE CORRECT DISNCES, BECAUSE IF THERE ARE TOO MANY, PEOPLE START TO IGNORE THEM by psychology! So.. to me THAT IS PERFECT EVIDENCE FOR THE OSSETT BYPASS! with the illegal 50mph signs (now removed) that they had IN EXCESS TO THE OTHER REPEATER SIGNS! (Too many) and the missing terminal sign (now put in place correctly)
I also mentioned the Nottinghamshire police camera van officers Quote from last week....
"We are Nottinghamshire police" - "we do things properly, not like other police forces who dont"
And this officer on of CX09 DSY... "SMILED & LAUGHED" at my quote! he thought it was amusing!

And my reply was.. "why are you laughing when people are loosing their driving licences"!
So there is that & the other things that were said. The conversation after the battery went was about the traffic light cameras and vehicles motion before the line on long vehicles after the cab has passed & the fact road markings are missing when they are needed for the cameras function.
Oh!.. He didnt know what a BLUE 30mph sign means, that you learn on the speed awareness course (minimum speed) and he said "I dont enforce a minimum speed" Yet I have seen BLUE 100 SIGNS in North Wales! which in fact say the MINIMUM SPEED IS 100MPH! (yet they are 300mm) very questionable signs.
So... I made my way back (was difficult as the road goes into country lanes! but eventually to Wrexham)
Anyway... When I got Back to Huddersfield on the M62, I got off at the first exit because I had in mind to film the Salendine Nook signs that are "lots of 30mph REPEATERS, before even the 30Mph terminal signs & speed limit" and LOTS of them (too many) and the Norh Wales camera van officer had JUST SAID EARLIER THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED MORE THAN PRESCRIBED, OR DISTANCES EITHER! and the Salendine Nook ones break all those rules (IMHO)
As I get off the motorway a White VAN pulls onto the hard shoulder to stop (has a red roof brake light)
I get to Salendine Nook just a little way after the exit I left at... exactly by the SIGNS and.. Whaa!?
THEY HAVE GOT THE KIRKLEES COUNCIL GUYS IN PLACE THERE WITH A TRUNDLE WHEEL MEASURING THE ROAD!? LOL!
I am like.... IS THIS PAUL DANIELS MAGIC SHOW OR WHAT?!
So I asked one of them A few questions about the SIGNS! I was like... "there are too many repeater signs there!" And he was like... err, err.. WITHIN the speed limit, not outside it.
But I am thinking.. YOU ARENT EVEN SUPPOSED TO HAVE *ANY* OUTSIDE OF IT AS ITS NOT THE SPEED! SINGLE REPEATER IS FOR AFTER THE TRMINAL NOT BEFORE!

I forgot to ask him about the OVERSIZED signs.. outside FARTOWN POLICE STATION! that I got a photo of yesterday where there are speed cameras. Wrong size for approach speed! and there are those by the All saints school roundabout as well, off the Brighouse bar Dual Carriagway! I wonder what he would have said about that? But he DID AGREE WITHIN THE SPEED LIMIT YOU CANNOT HAVE TOO MANY! so TWO pieces of testimony today to back up my OSSETT BYPASS complaints! (which they have started to put right) but still not took the points off my driving licence yet

The rest of the car was filthy, but I STILL CLAIM that the PAINT reflects LIGHT, WHITE or MORE SO than a REG PLATE, as it DIFFUSES LIGHT in OTHER DIRECTIONS.
I have lots of ideas for experiments to prove this, but until I win the lottery, I cannot afford to try them out.
Anyway, at least we have confirmation that they dont delete the videos after 5 years! kinda something. So you CAN get the evidence and look at it.

Anyway.. regarding the Crosshair on the Police Tele-traffic laser speed..
The Infra red laser unit & reciever on the housing of the camera unit are "fixed" in position and so it the LENS as well. I have a hunch that also there is no "DIGITAL PHYSICAL MOVEMENT" of the LASER UNIT OR the LENS, in relation to the AIM.
(like a scope on a rifle) where you have to physically move it, or else calibrate it to distance, and you would need to fire it to check. (THUS you would REQUIRE a SPEED VERIFICATION ALSO from a driver, to check the speed was the SAME as the device reading to correctly confirm calibration was correct)
I just think that.. "The cross hair moves around on the screen" as a kind of "novelty" toy game and has no effect upon the actual laser unit OR the LENS fixed housing.
THUS, Is a "loada crap" just like the INTENT not to make the distance readings live all the way through calculation.
I would like to win the lottery so I can buy one & set up a loada experiments, like in B&Q size warehouse, in the DARK & with a FOG machine so you can SEE the laser beam, and even put infra red censors all over a car which tell you where the BEAM made contact with as well.
I actually think that the "RED DOT" he mentions is actually in the centre of the Lens Field of vision, not where the crosshair is on the side screen, but I will have to prove it.
Still... my (FL) focal length frame sequence is strong evidence that the BEAM is smaller than they claim and that the target changes easily and is not as stable and wide as they say it is.

And also later on, there was a car in front a RED one, ALL DIRTY! EXCEPT FOR THE VAUXHALL BADGE AND LICENCE PLATE! and I was thinking about the SILVER BADGE being as reflective as the licence plate or MORE SO.
The rest of the car was filthy, but I STILL CLAIM that the PAINT reflects LIGHT, WHITE or MORE SO than a REG PLATE, as it DIFFUSES LIGHT in OTHER DIRECTIONS.
I have lots of ideas for experiments to prove this, but until I win the lottery, I cannot afford to try them out.

Anyway.. regarding the Crosshair on the Police Tele-traffic laser speed..
The Infra red laser unit & reciever on the housing of the camera unit are "fixed" in position and so it the LENS as well. I have a hunch that also there is no "DIGITAL PHYSICAL MOVEMENT" of the LASER UNIT OR the LENS, in relation to the AIM.
(like a scope on a rifle) where you have to physically move it, or else calibrate it to distance, and you would need to fire it to check. (THUS you would REQUIRE a SPEED VERIFICATION ALSO from a driver, to check the speed was the SAME as the device reading to correctly confirm calibration was correct)
I just think that.. "The cross hair moves around on the screen" as a kind of "novelty" toy game and has no effect upon the actual laser unit OR the LENS fixed housing.
THUS, Is a "loada crap" just like the INTENT not to make the distance readings live all the way through calculation.
I would like to win the lottery so I can buy one & set up a loada experiments, like in B&Q size warehouse, in the DARK & with a FOG machine so you can SEE the laser beam, and even put infra red censors all over a car which tell you where the BEAM made contact with as well.

I actually think that the "RED DOT" he mentions is actually in the centre of the Lens Field of vision, not where the crosshair is on the side screen, but I will have to prove it.
Still... my (FL) focal length frame sequence is strong evidence that the BEAM is smaller than they claim and that the target changes easily and is not as stable and wide as they say it is.
Also the Road signage issue is a huge problem, that is being "covered up" currently by the Government, because Cameron is a pompous prick why is out for his own self and ambition, NOT for Truth & fairness
