Edward only includes two of these acts here... Which explain a lot about the origin of policing powers, jury and rights
*Magna Carta 1215 Justices of the peace act 1361 Jurisdiction in liberties act 1535 *Petition of right 1627 Tumultuous 1661 Claim of right 1689 Right to petition 1688
Two critical clauses... From the 1627 act that come from Magna Carta were repealed around 1968 and that actually were claimed "unnecessary" when they could not be MORE necessary.
