Another bent road, in this prosecution against me! and NOW I have learned how to do the measurements correctly from the video! THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THERE BEING OVER 1 MILE OF MISSING ROAD SIGNAGE THAT IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE IN PLACE (National speed limit repeater signs) on the road approaching! that Steve Finnegan ignored and did not halt the prosecution, nor did Burnley court! The SIZE of the 50mph terminal signs cannot be set without the prior speed limit signs being correct & in place as that determines the size to be used for the terminal signs!
But here is my new evidence anyway... using the red lines I have found painted on the road! which works out I was going at 53.6mph, not 61mph! and it is strong evidence that callaghan did move the laser around the front of the vehicle which is not flat! and that extra distance WAS added into the speed calculations of the device!
Ok, so I have just been updating the Macclesfield Traffic light Thread...
And was posting about the road being bent when it must be straight, for installation of the camera at the site...
And I got back onto the subject of Ossett & Haslingden Bypass, because on both roads the road is bent as well...
And I made a brief post because I am now challenging the given distance on the Device Callaghan used of 228.9 Meters...
(Still dont have the Osset video yet from Halsted)
Anyway... Ive worked out that to get to the Police van from where reading ends must take about 8.3 seconds.
And the reading was taken (if 0.4 seconds) over about 10 meters of motion. see here example..
I havent posted the full video on here yet, I only used a bit of it to show you the "MOTION" effect on the police van from passing vehicles...
But I just watched the video, as I havent seen it recently.. and I thought it ended when I was in full screen , but by mystery, the video is longer than I remember!
And as well as the RED car that is going noticably FASTER than me, that Callaghan DOESNT get..
There is a car AFTER ME going FASTER NOTICABLY AS WELL! Reg NUMBER EJ04 XXU !
I wonder if i can get the details from an insurance company to find out if they had sat tracking as well?
So its not just the frequency of passing cars effecting stability of the police van, Callaghan himself is CHHOSING who to get, NO MATTER WHAT SPEED THEY ARE DOING! he got ME, and not the guy AFTER ME, even though the guy after was going FASTER!
Also... I am trying to time the video now... to see if I do get to the police van (or pass it) in exactly 8.36 seconds from when the speed reading distance is given!! but that seems to be exactly where the video ends-ish.. and it will be down to the exact decimal of a second if the speed reading is correct to the distance or not!
But there are some faint strips on the road as well! (I might post the FULL video for you on here soon, after I have done the measurements) But i SHOULD be able to time the van from strip to strip, now that I have learned more on exact timing from the Macclesfield research!!
Because 57mph VS 61 mpg should be quite different distance! it will not be as difficult to measre as the Macclesfield one which was down to 4.5cm kind of errors! (if the police video is even playing at real-time speed that is)
so half a second (1/2s)@ 61mph the distance is 13.6 meters. and @ 57mph it would be 12.7 meters! so 2.1 meters different distance! wich will be identifiable on the video! The only thing is the perspective... Because as I have shown in the Macclesfield evidence gathered... 4 meters looks very different as perspective truncates the distance... as you see the white road lines look shorter and shorter the further away they are!
Just as A note.. someone threw a silver Computer disk on the pavement by the road outside the house the other day... so no clues about that. I dont think it was the Robert Halsted footage either.
& I am currently ILL, as I contracted a Tonsil infection at Community service... I have no idea if it was from dust from old furnature, or if someone put something nasty in my food, or from some other reason... I did have a bit of a sort throat and tongue from loud lecture videos I did on the Bank Holiday monday when visiting Beeston... So that Could have made my throat a bit more susceptible to infection? another mystery.
All the Court evidence has been sent in for the Macclesfield case anyway... i opted to pleady not guilty by post, but i am too ILL to go in anyway now. The road is Clearly bent & Not straight at all.... But as we know courts & CPS are crooked anyway... so what else can you do, even if you are present at court?
I will add the updates about the Haslingden measurements when I have done the calculations.
ok they say its 0.4 seconds to take a speed reading...
57mph, 10.1 meters 0.4 seconds
61mph, 10.9 meters 0.4 seconds
Thats the distance the van moved at the target area.
But measuring it from the police van from the 228.9 meters away.. (no evidence of
exact police parking spot given or recorded)
61 mph, 228 meters (228.9 is more like 229 though) 8.36 seconds (no speed decimal is given)
57 mph, 228 meters 8.94 seconds
= 0.58 seconds! that is the time differentiation! and by co-incidence is the same number as the speed the satellite tracking has the van recorded at on the haslingden bypass! 3mph less than Callaghans device reading!
Now i get 14.7 meters vs 15.8 meters for 57/61 mph in 0.58 seconds = 1.1 meter different.
Anyway, i should be able to measure the road markings space and compare to the time. But how do we know the exact parking position of the police van to the exact 1cm? and how do we know the frame rate is playing at the exact real time speed in the video playback?!
ok heres the other car again... (going faster than me VISIBLY (quote Stoke on trent camera CIV - wait until i see someone speeding (then I will demo you a speed reading)
those red lines are approx 6 meters apart but not all exactly. And Callaghan doesnt get me by the metering strips at all! but before then! he ignored this car here in the picture, whewn it is going visiblly faster, but over the strips!
do you know that according to the machine head online calculator these are the different TIMES to drive between those lines at these speeds... 50, 55, 57, 61 & 65 all speeds right exactly crossing the PROSECUTION TIME (= BAN YOU FROM DRIVING)
And ALL TIMES LISTED HERE are
0.2 SECONDS! YES! ZERO SECONDS. to not just the .2. but ANOTHER DECIMAL PLACE!
13.63635 meters for the 0.4 seconds laser measure @ 61mph ?
11.53845 meters for the 0.4 seconds laser measure @ 51mph ?
Ok, i Will post my Full video.. I guess... Now, can you genuineky state that the aim & precision of Callaghan is that accurate on the front of the vehicle with the laser dot & NO ERROR AT ALL TO MISS on close examination...
to 0.22 OR 0.26 seconds?! THAT IS LESS THAN 0.2 OF A SECOND TIME! it is 0.04 OF A SECOND PRECISUION REQUIRED TO KEEP THE LASER IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE ON THE VEHICLE! they say the reading takes 0.4 seconds...
There is NO accurate time counter on screen!? only the elusive mystery frame rate, or focal length or WHATEVER?! it is!?
so in that time you would cover.. 9.2 meters for 51mph (speedo accuracy?!) or 10.9 meters for 61mph
so on the road are 6 meter spaced lines that are nearly 1 meter thick on the road, to measure out from the video evidence only... 9.2 meters between something like 10.9 meters over 0.4 seconds!
