Replying to XR main page latest post...
m.facebook.com/XRebellionUK/photos/a.416705975824890/1075719823256832/?type=3problem is that i know there is the XR hub, and hundreds of groups, but this was posted 2 hours ago and only you and me comment.. only a small number of likes..
Russel Band has had 80,000 to 100,000 views and 1,000s of comments within one hour on his channel.. i think it reflects the power that celebritizm and mainstream fame generates.. while Extinction rebellion a more humble mix of ordinary people dont seem to pull together as much.. yes small regional bands and on site turn out. Maybe the main XR channels are not reflective of the true extent of XR.. so maybe i am wring but it doesnt look like there is huge support when people visit the main official pages.. π
I think the politicians DO see into the future and planning. Certainly they are focused on their elections, but in the shadows its all long term strategy with buisness thats aimed to extend deeper and wider influences and control.
Who would these experts be who advised the citizens assembly?? I thought XR was looking to try get eventually a full voting referendum system..
I think XR plan is great but why not the full public now we have the technology? Who would these expert advisors be? What party affiliations might they have, even if randomly selected? Could it be a dice roll?
Im curious, if you got the entire scientific expert community...
Would we find that the voting figures are the same 2/3 of those people also dont vote currently ? Or would we find that of scientists and experts a higher percentage vote? So more party affiliations exist??
If it was the same percentage as the general population , then it could be a good idea as more chance of non bias people. But then again.. still a Chance?
I think politicians are already misguided by so called experts but yes. They are not randomly selected true.
Problems i see are that... What if these randomly selected people for this assembly end up being the 2/3 who are indeed not party affiliated... But, then also didnt care or were not really interested?
I would love to see a national survey of the nation at this stage.. why the 2/3 dont vote.
So we already have accurate real information on that, which we can trust??
Can they truly not be bothered (lazy) or just dont care? Or yes, dont feel they are being represented by any current options? And or dont like or trust who or what is on offer and current representation??
Maybe thats why XR main site lacks higher figures? Unless its the way regional groups are set out?
One thing we do agree on is that the current political system you refer to... Definately cannot be fit for purpose when its operated on a minority of the publics opinion 1/3. How can any country claim its competent or adequate?? They have never done enough to get people interested and they are happy not to.
Instead the distractions of television glitter , fame, social esteem. Greed, money, prizes, cakes...
That is the REAL majority. That is the true political devil. Parliament is cherade. Drawing attention to a room where elected people just dont even turn up, when there is a debate.. such as HS2...
The real politics is in the sales and cash tills, BBC licence fee and commercials, coming into your homes.. Jeremy Vine, Lose Women, Strictly dancing, X Factor, Simon Cowel is the judge. Tom Jones... They tell us who is and who is not talented. They decide.
If they dont approve we are shunned..
Show must go on...
Products must be sold. Shares must be traded..

How can XR compete with the GODS OF FAME AND STARDOM? forget politicians, Lords, Barons..
These people are GODS. And are worshipped by their fans...
Into every household and mind through your television set. Radio. Computer, eyeballs billboards.. talking buses, supermarket tanoids...
The Empire has infinite unlimited funding. They do not need ballot box votes. They oy need sales, likes.
Its XR vs Cake.
XR vs Cookies.
XR vs cinema XR vs Clothing,
XR vs holidays to barbados.
How can they like XR more? Why should they choose XR over X-Factor??
Greed. Money. Social elevation. The devil has it all...
Sorry to be dogmatic.. its all in context... Just an example..
XR will take away things from people....
How can it be promoted, shown to people to be better than that the Tory Devils have on offer??
We need a new model, a working model... Has anywhere escaped MacDonalds? KFC? Subway?
Where are the films and movies with the alternative to shopping malls? They dont make those movies because if they pitch and sell a world without need of buisness.. they wont make money and they wont have control.
