Newark traffic Warden gives incorrect registration mark in parking ticket details!! and PCN is invalid! also i have been on there loads of times and the council CCTV has never issued a ticket ever! the shopkeepers say you are ok to deliver on there! Also a female traffic Warden in Newark nearby also confirms I am correct that ticket is invalid!
Also more importantly, I have not broken any regulation! I can unload to shops on the street! a delivery van is exempted from the restriction (which is only in place for part of the day anyway!)

I am doing a delivery to Newark-On-Trent, on a area that I have delivered to loads of times before. The shop keepers say you are OK to unload there.
I have even delivered before when 2 parking wardens were together watching me and said nothing.
This time the Sat-Nav took me a slightly different way, but I have also delivered to another shop there many times before with no problems.
Now, this Thursday. 12 May 2016 I deliever and there is a parking Warden giving me a ticket when I get back to the van, after delivering to a shop! I video the encounter...

Anyway... After I drive away I realise that he has ENTERED THE WRONG VEHICLE DETAILS INTO HIS TICKET MACHINE! he put a #9 in there! incorrectly! So I ask a female Traffic Warden I am passing if the Ticket is VOID & she says that i am correct & it is void!
Also this is the SAME DAY that the NEWSPAPER runs a HEADLINE - BEN COPS! err by Nick Parker EXACTLY THE SAME AS MY CAMPAIGN NAME BENTCOPS! but with 1 letter different! And the Traffic wardens machine just got 1 number wrong on my registration number!
And I dont know If he did it on purpose, or if they sent my sat-nav to take me down the wrong road, and used some kind of bluetooth on his machine?!
Here are the photos! The Street! It also doesnt have yellow strips on the pavement/road to say you cannot unload there! and im not certain there are no unloading repeater signs! I cannot see why or how residents or shops cannot have "ACCESS to their shops" during the daytime. I am certain that the truth of the matter is that ONLY NORMAL CARS can go down the ROAD before or after the stated TIMES and that WITHIN THOSE TIMES only access & deliverys & shop keepers or residents/people who live in flats can go down the road/stop. Because UNDER THAT SIGN for the times a SEPERATE SIGN says "NO STOPPING" but that seems to imply at any time! (UNLESS YOU ARE RESIDENT OR DELIVERY) because that is a seperate sign! Also I have delievered in CHESTER CITY in a SAME REGULATION AREA with CAMERAS EVERYWHERE and DHL, ROYAL MAIL, & OTHER VEHICLES DELIVERING! and no-one else got stopped! or fined! I am certain it was just this perticular traffic Warden being a "Smeg head" because I have driven that road Cartergate during the DAYTIME many times before! and work had NEVER been sent a ticket ever for it!
Dont forget that this EXACT SAME DAY as the Wardens "Machine" or "him" giving the wrong registration number... the NEWSPAPER had a HEADLINE just like my Campaign but with 1 letter different! a T missing! BEN COPS!
Do you think the Traffic Warden Noticed it was me? and did it as a Joke? because he had seen the newspaper & knows this website?!
I have looked at the Government website here... and under CONTENTS OF A PENALTY CHARGE NOTICE, it states to be served under regulation 9 a penalty charge notice under (c) **must contain the registration mark of the vehicle involved in the alleged contravention! and as the issues ticket does NOT contain the correct registration mark then it is not a valid PCN penalty ticket charge notice!

The only think is that I have done some google searches & there are many stating I am correct (Which the legislation confirms) but there are a few people who contested incorrect registration numbers & the council still argued to try get them to pay the fines! where for example when I lorry from Work got a fine for driving on Mildmay Park, London £140 fine over 17.5 T weight.. I found the signs were incorrect size and complained & we didnt hear back from them! So i was right!
