Ok so yesterday I was Down South around the M25/M1 area after going to Oxfordshire. Just before I joined with the M1 the sat nav route took me on this road, the A414 North Orbital at St. Alban's stone. I was driving along, and then I started to look at the road signage, as I do now.. rather than "just drive" - looking for any unusual signs.... you never notice these things unless you are looking for wrong signs! hahaha. I passed a national speed limit repeater (illegal size I think?? well, either 300 or 450mm, then I entered a 50mph area... but THEN I SAW A NATIONAL SPEED LIMIT REPEATER SIGN AGAIN!!! im like WTF!! is there 2 speed limits on this road at the same time!! ?? I was going to turn around to get photos, but I didnt really have time.. I just though... "I will have a look at google maps later after work" So I have put this photo sequence together of most of the A414 westbound as a basic example. Its a massive file, might take a while to load, I havent optimized it for your loading pleasure, so dont get annoyed if you are on WIFI, lol. Try compare to the Ossett bypass to contrast with how they bother using warning strips instead of 50 ban's near roundabouts. Here is that 6 inch National speed limit sign at Birds edge, Denby Dale I mentioned earlier, it exists!

I know this is the St.Albans thread & not even Denby Dale or Yorkshire, but as I mentioned it, here is another tiny 6 inch National speed limit sign at Shelley, West Yorkshire.. near the college.. hidden in the trees! mega illegal sign!
