Picking 4 numbers.. But as they still draw 5 numbers out... You get another chance at matching a number..
So that's why they are saying the odds are around 40,000 to one..
Not certain how they work that out..
But if you bought all the combinations.. at £435,450 you would only win £30,000
The rest would be a charity donation.. but you would have better odds than 230,300 to 1 on winning the 30k...
Even if you removed at least half of the number combinations.. and bet on 115,150 combinations.. it would still cost £172,775 which is well over £30,000 although according to the lottery the odds would be still giving over £140,000 to charity.. even if you won. Lol.
So it's TRUE they have it red walled off. From mathematicians..
I'm not certain about the full numbers.. all 6 or 7 numbers.. depending if its lotto or Euromillions.. I think because of ridiculous multi million pound prizes it eventually does not result in a loss if you do buy all the numbers.. as I think someone did do it before..
I had an idea... which is that on the 1-50 number layout.. you rarely see perfect symmetry in the results..
I mean symmetry of where you marked the dots on the betting slip grid..
I was thinking that you could remove a large number of the combinations by taking out all possible symmetric layout numbers.. and all uniform number patterns..
As I checked the history and its clear it's rare for uniformity in pattern.. on the 1-50 grid..
So you could easily raise the odds by not getting on those combinations especially if you do 4 number hotpicks..
So the odds would then be reduced to 20,000 to one from 40,000 to one.. to win £30,000
If you spent £20,000 then... on a lot of the non uniform patterns...
If you won.. you would be £10,000 up. But would have to risk the £20,000..
But this is then what I think is one of those bets.. where you could... feel more confident... in the risk..
I think it would be a cool bet... very interesting..
It is not guaranteed win.. but its... definitely interesting to consider
This is because its highly unlikely to get 5 completely uniform numbers drawn. And even though you only choose 4 numbers.. there are 5 numbers you have a chance with..
And sometimes they group together... but you always get a "stray" number..
And it's that "stray" number that near guaranteed that it will NOT be full symmetry or uniformity...
And the odds of the numbers being absolutely symmetry or in line.. or exact pattern.. are unlikely..
This is the sort of gambling you could have a punt at if you had £20,000 free to gamble even if you would only be £10,000 up if you won...
It's sort of similar to having a dark room... shining a flash light on the floor further away... and throwing a ball... knowing that you aim is "decent enough" to make the ball hit the area you are shining the torch on.. even in a large room..
Just because its unlikely to miss...
The same as its unlikely for the hotpicks 4 numbers to be in uniform pattern or symmetry or exact lines on the betting slip..
Because it IS RANDOM... That its highly likely to be non uniform..
It's kind of the "opposite" to the flashlight example
The flashlight example is that the beam is so uniform and stable... even if it is quite narrow... and your other hand is going to be coordinated "enough" not to miss the floor that's lit... Even if you are not a cricket fielder or professional bowler... Or darts player even..
Actually you could have a room divided up into 50 squares on the floor and you likely could throw a ball to hit the correct square every time.. from 4 throws. And if you missed one.. you got 1 reserve ball.
But because of the nature of the lottery... The random and "non uniformity" of the lottery is actually what IS on your side!
Because of the fact the lottery machine is absolutely NOT as accurate as a human at throwing a ball perfectly to hit uniform square as chosen...
So it is the likelihood of this randomness that actually will work FOR you in this situation...
Not like a police chief where on a steep hill he is guaranteed to put a speed camera there and the speed percentile of the road will literally guarantee him speeding tickets all day... especially if he lowered the speed limit...
Shame I don't have £20,000 free to experiment this gamble...
It would need a computer program to list all the number patterns from 1-50 not to bet on... and then.. see what the figures look like... depending on if you can remove at least half of the number combinations..
If you can get it down to less than 20,000 to one odds.. that is if you only are betting on 1 line....
But if you bet on a good few thousand... its decent odds..
Though saying that.. I haven't failed to get 2 numbers yet... since I made my little raffle book.. using about 13 lines

Another story from today's metro.. not on YouTube yet.
Another story.. William Shatner (Bill) doing a question and answers gig on The Wrath of Kahn in London.. He is 88 years old now They aren't sending him back to the future though?! He likes riding horses
The Wrath of Kahn has the best made clothing and design than any movie ... I don't like the villain character though.
My favourite Star Trek scene is this... Also when Spock remembers he is his friend
I pretty much grew up on Star Trek. It was probably more influential than Star Wars, Back to the Future or anything else.. other than the A-Team because it was on literally ALL THE TIME. I must have seen every episode with Bill Shatner or close to all of them.. and it's one of the only films to make me cry when Spock and Kirk help/save everyone......
I think that The American Values of truth and honesty.. or else "Good" have been very prominent in my life... particularly the A-Team and Star Trek. Sort of like The Lost Boys movie Frog brothers "Truth, Justice and the American way" only minus the fast food enterprise franchises which are damaging society..
Pretty funny as it's a bit like kicking DJ Watson in the face with the "Creature of Havoc" book portrait .. literally I have had enough of the guy..
He is not even fit for a senile dementia home... he is completely corrupt, incompetent and dangerous to society. A demon.
We seriously need to sort out these Colonel Decker-ish police chief clones... as they are unruly and outside of the law..
The Myredyyd Huges interrogation is not enough because the Government aren't addressing the true problems because they themselves are part of them.. It needs something more.
The Police Chief officers are akin to action man figures... they aren't paid to think, but take orders from the Government. Only think on a lower solider planning level... speed traps for cars is their limit (which they deny all knowledge of) found out and they are given up. The Government will deny all knowledge.
Back to Star Trek again.. I will always remember one strange episode where there were these stone/boulder type creatures in caves.. and spock I think had to touch them to communicate with them telepathically ... I thought they were the weirdest creatures I've seen on there...
I never thought anything like that was true.. that you could actually touch a Rock or Tree or object and get images or thoughts from it... So its pretty amazing that it is actually true and you can actually do that...
Most people think these programs are 100% fiction.. but a lot of the ideas behind them are based on true things or archetypes or inspiration..
Actually.. thinking of the A-Team .. I already mentioned on here.. that before all this ridiculous adventure started... I thought something was unusual or about to happen.. because I actually Encountered the actual "A-Team van" it was just parked up in town, exactly opposite a place I used to park up a lot... I was like.. WOW!! It was these 2 guys.. who had a show van. A replica. Seemed like they travel around with it. I don't know who or how it was arranged for them to be there.. But I got to actually sit inside it and look at it.. it actually is as good if not better than in the television series.. It really was amazing that GMC van.. very comfy and cool. It was really unusual experience.. very exciting..
I went to my friend's house to get him.. do he could see it.. but when we got back it had gone... So I was lucky really in the right place at the right time.
Definitely during the Sergeant Phil Tyson interviews at the police station.... It was literally like trying to deal with Colonel Decker.. You are doing an actual petition campaign.. investigation for good.. and these police military people are arresting you and against you..
Actually I just realised that BA Baracus is a bit like Mike Tyson and Phil Tysons name is "Tyson" the speed camera "box"-ing expert.
"I ain't no fool sucker"
Do you think if Simon Cole takes his glasses off, he might get it? Y'know.. like Clark Kent?? Hmmmm
