So....
Because the Australian government are happy to request you adjust or edit a petition.. Before it runs.. Rather than wasting your time and money by just rejecting it.. And thus your political time, money and adverts and expenses have been a waste of time and effort... Especially 6 months of potantial door to door signature garhering at the 8 hours a day 1 signature per minute.. Posting the web address through peoples doors.. If you dont have an expensive email daily allowance account (300 per day) (Andrew Jones etythmatic style).. And you dont just add every tom dick and harry to your facebook personal account.. Or take into account the strict facebook group subject policy on topic posts.. You are left with twitter. which i dont usem. But the MPs love because they can use it to de rail campaigns by tweeting to all their celebrity pals and newspaper tycoons and sainsburys chief execs...
Who wouldnt want THEIR advertising money down the tube.
No.
To work out exactly how these peoplevand their military commanders like to play fair with people... We notice that since the introduction of this campaign 3 years ago... They have.. The UK parliament.. Decided to simply "pull the plug" on the automatic 100,000 petition signature policy... Yes.
The power has been cut. So to say.
Where as the Australian government will not even require any threshold at all.
No... Simply every petition will either bevsent to the appropriate minister or presented most likely anyway on any number of signatures. Thus reducing expenses and time required.
And thw fact they are willing to work with people on the submission.. From individual or organization ( corporate presentation to the senate.. Signature free? ) is very intetesting a development indeed.
My White House petitions were published inmediately..and seem to be ok.. Other than interesting signature count behaviour that i am currenly looking into..
But for certain... In dont believe it "doesnt" put people at a disadvantage... When they are moving the goal posts and picking and choosing what they fancy.. As if it were a cake store... And not 6 months of peoples time and money and work.. Trodden under the street mud and de-valued as lightly as a army of protesters filling the streets with banners and flags all behind a metal fence with police guards..
No...
They really dont care about your time and money or work..
They. Are in charge. And thats why they went for the position in the first place.
Not to be working door to door for nothing.
As if a vote wasnt worth a third of a hawiian 5-0 pizza.
